Mit dieser Multi-Megapixel Avigilon Kamera sind qualitativ hochwertige Detailaufnahmen möglich. Die Auflösung ist vergleichbar mit 50 VGA Kameras herkömmlicher Bauart. Durch die Verringerung der Gesamtzahl der Kameras sind enorme Kosteneinsparungen möglich. Die Digitale PTZ-Funktion im Live-Betrieb und bei Aufnahmen im HDSM (High Definition Stream Management) sorgen für Optimale Aufnahmequalität ohne Datenverlust.
Die IR-Scheinwerfer empfindlichkeit (NIR) ist bei Nacht dem menschliche Auge weit überlegen. Die Kamera besitzt einen grossen Dynamikbereich für Aufnahme detailgenauer Szenen mit sowohl sehr hellen als auch sehr dunklen Zonen.
